Growth of North West Lubricans

The business was started by Barry Klein as Vaalgas back in 1968.
Vaalgas supplied LPG to Vereeniging and other towns in the Vaal Triangle such as Meyerton, Vanderbijlpark and Sasolburg.  Paraffin was added to the loads in 1987 supplying areas such as Sebokeng, Sharpville and Evaton and by 1994 Sebokeng Paraffin was born. With the addition of diesel the name changed to Sebokeng Fuels.

Diesel and Petrol deliveries now make up the majority of the business with deliveries being made to manufacturers, mines, farmers, construction and transport companies and retail forecourts. Lubricants are distributed in the North West province.    

Apart from the Head Office and depot in Vereeniging, Sebokeng Fuels has depots in Heilbron, Rustenburg, Lichtenburg and Modimolle (Nylstroom). These facilities have bulk storage and serve as the base from which deliveries to customers take place. Forecourts are available in Vereeniging, Modimolle, Lichtenburg and Heilbron where customers can collect their own fuel.
Sebokeng Fuels’ own fleet numbers an impressive 53 fuel delivery trucks made up of bridging and secondary delivery vehicles.
Sebokeng Fuels is a Shell Branded Distributor which entitles Sebokeng Fuels to distribute branded Shell Fuels and Lubricants. This was only achieved by having met the highest standards in, safety, strategic alignment, financial capability, management processes and capability, customer service and selling processes and BBBEE.
